Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT vs 8800 Ultra

The new Nvidia Geforce 9600 GT is out to some companies. And now the benchmarking test is announced. We don't need to see the exact number of all the test, I'll just summarize it to one simple sentence. 9600 GT IS NEARLY EQUAL AS 8800 ULTRA. Now, we can safely assume that the next generation of 9600 based architecture will absolutely better in term of performance than 8800 Ultra that is considered the best gaming card. As shown on my other post about the product and generation code. That also apply to this product, 9600 is equal to 8800, but as GT edition to be nearly stand in the same ground as the ULTRA edition of 8800, is really a big difference. Usually, a GTX or Ultra class really outclasses the GT or GS version of the SAME card. So, we can say that Geforece 9600 GT is a great improvement from its previous product. And 9600 GTX or Ultra or even 9800 will really change the world of gaming.

i agree with most , but i look at test results already the entire days , and the info that 9600gt = 8800ultra is false, in fact its about = 8800gs, yet i still prefer anytime a 9600gt to any 8800 card, besides 9600 is cheaper then any 8800

9600 GT = 8800 GS it's possible, but are you sure it's not an OVERCLOCKED 8800, we're talking about a reference board from NVIDIA here...

A 9600GT is = 8800 GT 256mb
A 8800GT is better in more sense than others than a 9600GT. The new 9600GT has just less transistors than the 8 series and delivers some decent power, but not as much as a 8800GT 512mb.
The 8800 Ultra is still by far the best video card out there. SO comparing a 9600GT to 8800 Ultra and liking the 9xxx is dumb.
