A few months ago, ZINK, aka Zero INK, announces its new inkless printing technology. This technology basically uses ZINK Paper. ZINK Paper is an advanced composite material with dye crystals embedded inside and a protective polymer overcoat layer outside. Before printing, the embedded dye crystals are colorless, so ZINK Paper looks like regular white photo paper. A ZINK-enabled device uses heat to activate and colorize these dye crystals. Up until now, there only 1 ZINK-enabled device, its name is Polaroid Digital Instant Mobile Photo Printer. You can see the official specification of this product at : www.polaroid.com/onthego
