Best Antivirus

Surfing internet nowadays is becoming more dangerous, it's because of a lot of viruses and spywares spread over the net. That's exactly why internet and home users should have a antivirus to keep their computers clean. But the problem is which antivirus is good ? There are a lot of antivirus (up to 100), some of them is the well-known and made by big companies such as Norton and McAfee that is costly and there are some that is made by individual or small group of people that is cheap or even free such as Avast! , AVG, and Kaspersky. Of course, well-known anitivirus is usually best but there's more to it. I prefer using antivirus that is safe, small footprint and updated. I personally dislikes expensive antivirus and all-in-one security suite like norton that is a combined firewall, antivirus, anti-hack, anti-spyware, etc that causes your computer to be unstable and fragile. If I can find details, I'll post those antivirus that I like on my next post.
